a. Performing general tasks: Directing the fields of scientific research, technology transfer, and intellectual property; compiling, translating, and evaluating textbooks, learning materials, reference books, projects, and initiatives; developing, revising, evaluating, and opening new vocational and academic programs; managing and operating practical workshop equipment; conducting examinations, quality assurance, and library information services.

b. Directly supervising and managing the following areas of work:

– Directly supervising and monitoring activities at Campus 2 (Tan Dinh commune, Bac Ninh province);

– Organizing and directing production and service activities inside and outside the school to contribute to increasing income and improving the living standards of staff, faculty, and students;

– Arranging accommodation, workplaces, recreation, and entertainment within the school; promoting sports, culture, and office culture; and conducting information and propaganda activities.

– Management activities, scientific research, and technology transfer of the University; activities related to digital transformation;

– Developing short-term and long-term programs and plans for scientific research and technology transfer; implementing ADB projects for key occupations and other technology transfer projects. Organizing scientific workshops and seminars on scientific research domestically and internationally;

– Implementing the results of scientific and technical research into small and medium-scale production to refine technological processes and determine economic efficiency before transferring them to mass production. Directing joint ventures and collaborations with domestic and foreign organizations and individuals to produce and trade goods, and provide scientific and technological services;

– Examination and quality assurance; compilation of textbooks, reference materials (including translation of foreign materials), and teaching materials; scientific research among teachers and students;

– Managing, using, and operating equipment and machinery in practical workshops and training facilities;

– Participating in collective discussions with the Rector on major policies, plans, and measures in all aspects of the school’s work;

– Directing relevant units to carry out assigned tasks;

– Performing other tasks assigned by the Rector;

– Working at the Faculty of Electronics and Informatics.

c. Directly in charge of the following units:

– Campus 2;

– Faculty of Electronics and Informatics;

– Faculty of Garment Technology, Fashion and Aesthetics;

– Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and International Languages.
