THREE STUDENTS FROM THE COLLEGE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNIQUES (BCIT) RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS FROM THE MINISTRY OF SCIENCE AND ARTS OF THE STATE OF HESSEN, GERMANY, FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2025-2026

On December 10, 2025, a scholarship awarding ceremony was held in Thai Nguyen province. The scholarships, awarded by the Ministry of Science and Arts of the State of Hessen and the World University Service of the Federal Republic of Germany, were given to underprivileged students with excellent academic achievements at universities and colleges in the northern region. The Industrial Technical College was honored to have three outstanding students receive these scholarships.

The students honored with scholarships include: Vi Thi Lien, class 58CD-DTCN1 (Industrial Electronics); Ta Van Vuong, class 58CD-CNTT1 (Information Technology); and Hoang Van Que, class 58CD-DCN2 (Industrial Electrical Engineering). All three scholarship recipients have excellent academic records, actively participate in extracurricular activities, are from ethnic minority groups, come from disadvantaged families, and have always demonstrated a strong will to excel in their studies.

At the scholarship awarding ceremony, the students were deeply moved and proud to be among the 3 out of 34 outstanding students receiving scholarships in the northern region. The Vietnam Education and Training Support Scholarship, sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Arts of the State of Hessen and the German World University Service, has been present in Vietnam since 1993, awarding over 8,000 scholarships to students nationwide, each worth 216 euros, equivalent to 6,500,000 VND. Dr. Bui Cong Tho, Head of the Hessen Office in Vietnam, shared that being on the scholarship list demonstrates the students’ excellence, progress, and continuous efforts in their studies and training. Furthermore, the scholarship certificate is an advantage for them in their job search and increases their opportunities for further education in other countries, especially in Germany.

The Hessen Scholarship not only empowers students from disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed in life but also contributes to promoting the scholarship movement in colleges and universities nationwide. Hopefully, in the coming academic years, BCIT will have more outstanding students who overcome difficulties and excel in their studies to receive the Hessen Scholarship.
